How cute is this stamp set from Concord & 9th. I love how the word "wonderful" is nestled right between the florals. I am working on my copic marker coloring and have been really enjoying the process of learning how to blend them. This is the first time I tried using copics on kraft colored cardstock (Neenah Desert Storm.)

This card was posted up for the following challenges:

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!!

I have never been a big fan of this holiday, especially since we never really celebrated it growing up. However, this year, I feel surrounded by everything Halloween! So I decided to create a card that was cute and funny and I really like how it turned out. Oh, and I made an envelope to go with it:)

I'm entering this into the Lawn Fawn "Too Cute To Spook" Challenge http://lawnscaping.blogspot.com/2015/10/lawnscaping-challenge-too-cute-to-spook.html. I would say that my card was inspired by the colors on Nette's card. Maybe my next card could be with the cute ghosts like her:)

Books for sale

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

One of my resolutions for this year is to declutter. A very wise person told me that decluttering will allow room for new and better things to flow in. So, on my mini-break in Mumbai, I decided to start cleaning out my things.

I have some books (mostly text and children's books) that I am selling, mostly related to early childhood, some to psychology. All proceeds will go towards an educational drive. Please feel free to email me and I will send you an email with the list of books that I have and pricing.

Have a wonderful new year!

Bling bling

I've been seeing a lot of projects that use embossing paste and the effect looked so cool! I wanted to try some out. After I ordered it, I saw this challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp blog called 'Let's Be Clear.' So I decided to use my translucent embossing paste and mixed it with some gold pigment ink. Using the SSS large morocaan stencil, I layed the paste on. It looked like a light brown color and I was worried how it would turn out. But when it dried, it looked amazing! Here's  what I came up with:

After sooooo long....

I can't believe it's been over a month since I blogged, since I've created anything!

Today, I'm sharing something a tad different. I attempted to make a gift bag and, I have to say, I loved creating it! It doesn't sound like a lot of fun, or at least to me it didn't, but I LUUUUUUUVED making it!

I love the pink against the cool colors. Pretty cute, huh?
