I can't believe it's been over a month since I blogged, since I've created anything! Today, I'm sharing something a tad different. I attempted to make a gift bag and, I have to say, I loved creating it! It doesn't sound like a lot of fun, or at least to me it didn't, but I LUUUUUUUVED making it!
I love the pink against the cool colors. Pretty cute, huh?
And I'm back with yet another post. I'd be so proud if I continued at this pace. Anyway, here is another card I created today for two challenges: the Avery Elle August challenge and the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger challenge. I used the sketch from the Avery Elle challenge and the colors were pulled from the Tuesday Trigger.
And here's what I created:
I used vellum for the sentiment banner.I tried to add the polka dots on the cupcake liner with a toothpick and the little sugar speckles with my paper scorer. You can't really see the sheen from the glossy accents on the flower so here's a bit of close-up.
I really love this card. It looks so much better than I had imagined it.
Tada! I am back. Bet you didn't expect me back so soon:) I'm back with a new card that I created for the Mama Elephant challenge as well as the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. Here is the inspiration photo and the sketch:
And here's the end result:
How cute is that little giraffe? I absolutely love the lil' fella.
Hello everyone! I guess this whole thing about being regular at blogging isn't really happening. I haven't been creating much lately so haven't had anything to share. Today, I finally went through some of the challenges and I made something for the Paper Smooches challenge. It was inspired by a project Jennifer created for Hero Arts. Here's what I came up with:
I really like the colors that were picked for this challenge.I think they were perfect for the card. The only thing I think is missing is some glitter on the colored leaves. I've been eyeing the Wink of Stella pen for a while but I think it's about time I bought one. It would definitely be useful, especially at times like these when I'm travelling and can't decide what to take (and make sure I don't add extra weight by packing too many supplies.)
Over at Pretty Pink Posh, everyone's celebrating the 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge's 1st birthday! How cool! I love the challenges that are provided here. So in order to celebrate the 1st birthday, I created this card here:
