A little cake...

Hey guys,

This is my second post for the day. I wanted to make a birthday card, so I decided to try and combine a couple of challenges: the Avery Elle July Challenge, the CAS-ual Fridays challenge and the Moxie Fab challenge. 

Here's the card: 

I tried to combine two embossing powders (I've always wanted to  do that!) So I tried it out with the numbers on the bottom of the card and I absolutely love how it turned out. 

I usually don't put sentiments on the inside, but I love the way this turned out. And I adore that cupcake stamp!

Paper Smooches - "thanks"

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. 

I saw the Paper Smooches challenge a few days ago and kept procrastinating about what to make. So many ideas came to my mind. However, here is what I ended up making. I used the colors from the photo for the background and the circle with the sentiment was inspired by the sun.

Owl on wreath

Hi guys,

Today I have a card that I've been putting off on making but finally made it for the Lawnscaping Challenge.

Isn't it adorable? I love the way the owl is standing on the wreath. How adorable is he? As you can tell, there was some paper piecing done:)  I also added some glossy accents to the hearts and then finished off the card with some twine.

Celebrate in red, blue and white

Hello! 

I'm sorry I've been MIA for a short while. But I am back now:) 

I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun long weekend. It's funny that I made a card for the 4th of July, but after-the-fact. LOL! Anyway, here it is: 

I've never made a 4th of July card before, but I love the colors on this card! I love the vellum jar, the white polka dots from Paper Smooches and the red on top of the blue:) I really didn't think I could pull it off. And guess what? This card was made in 9 min and 40 seconds. Not bad! I wanted to add a few more faux-stitching lines to the stars so that there would be 2-3 lines all the way to the center, but I ran out of time.  

Anyways, I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp challenge, the Paper Smooches Designer Sketch challenge and into the 10 Minutes Craft Dash.
