Colors I thought I'd never combine

Hello all!

Today, I've created a card for the Colours and Sketches challenge. Ha! I never would have thought in a gazillion years to combine these colors. But I did and love the way this card turned out to be. A bit different than the bright colors I normally like to use but I luuuuuuuv it!

Oh wow! It's been two weeks since I posted on the blog. I have to get better at this! 

So here's the bestest birthday present I got this year - from my baby bro of course!  

That's right! It's the new Samsung Galaxy S4 and a box of Godiva Cake Truffles - yummmmmm! The chocolates were not available at any Godiva store. So he kept looking and looking till he finally found them at one store (I think it's the only place that has these in stock!) How sweet is that? And yes, they are amazing! I mean, come on! They're CAKE TRUFFLES:p 


Okay...back to card-making. Here's the card I made today and at first, I wasn't sure how it would turn out but I'm liking it. Take a look:

The colors I used were taken from the 10 Minute Craft Dash and the sketch I used was from the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge. Don't you just love the colors?

Delightful

Yesterday, as I was walking home, I saw the cutest thing. A lady walking her son's stroller and right next to her, her son was walking his own stroller. The little fella was so cute - with a binkie in his mouth, walking all wobbly.  I really wanted to capture this and the lady was kind enough to agree to have a picture taken for my blog. Check it out: 

Isn't this just absolutely adorable? I love how I'll find this little pleasures in this country! It's all the small things that make you smile, right? 

I also have a card to share today. I love how colorful the background is and how the sentiment on black just stands out. 

I'm entering this card into the Paper Smooches Sparks "Anything Goes" challenge and also into Simon Says...Happy Mail challenge. 

I gotta go finish packing - flying back to India today.
